Atherton Pistol Club - Pistol and Rifle Shooting Club

Atherton Pistol Club is a boutique shooting facility on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. Located at 1359 Tinaroo Falls Dam Road in the disused quarry created during the construction of the Tinaroo Falls Dam wall in the 1950’s. Our membership consists of sports shooting enthusiasts with a vast knowledge base across multiple pistol and rifle shooting disciplines. We are maintaining and further developing a well-appointed facility to promote and serve the sport of pistol and rifle shooting on the Tablelands. A broad range of pistol, rimfire, and pistol-calibre carbine rifle shooting matches are regularly undertaken and more disciplines are being added to our range approval as the exciting sport shooting popularity grows, and new members are welcomed to come and try. Regular competitions, training, and practice events are held weekly. Suitably qualified membership personnel can have a (deposited) key to access the facility at will, with compliance regulations applying at all times. The club is a Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) branch, Q66, and individual membership of this peak body is a requirement for insurance purposes. These pages will give an overview and information about the “how-to” details. Contact us on any of the numbers or club email. Come and say hello, and be welcomed to participate.
